Larry Hamilton: Bio
Larry Hamilton is truly a New Orleans music veteran. In the
60s he was lead vocalist for both David Batiste and the Gladiators as well as the
Invaders. He has also penned hits for Albert King, Irma Thomas, Etta James, King Floyd
and many others. Larry's self titled NYNO debut,
Larry Hamilton, was released earlier
this year and reviewers have been quick to label Larry "the new soul king of New Orleans."

Do you have any advice to musicians and song writers?
Study. Get yourself a book called "This Business of Music," start with that. Make
sure you get yourself a real good attorney. Find yourself a manager, somebody you can
really trust. Most of all, work on what you want to do, what you love to do, and that is
the music itself.
Where is the best place to eat in New Orleans?
Seafood at Ralph and Kacoo's in the French Quarter
Where is the best place to catch live music in New Orleans?
Toss up between Tipitina's, House of Blues and Margaritaville, and all the rest of
the clubs. There is so much good music here in New Orleans.
