Oliver Morgan: Bio

Oliver Morgan - who got the nation dancing with his 1963 hit "Who Shot the
LaLa" - grew up in the ninth ward neighborhood of New Orleans, a musical
hotbed which was also home to Fats Domino and Smiley Lewis. After a lifelong
career as one of New Orleans' most popular entertainers, "I'm Home" -
incredibly - is Oliver's first full-length album. It is classic New Orleans
soul and R&B, as masterfully produced by the city's great maestro, Allen
Toussaint. Like one of Oliver's shows, if this doesn't get you on your feet
dancing, Jack, check your pulse, 'cause you dead!
